THE ROLE OF THE VILLAGE GOVERNMENT IN IMPLEMENTING GOOD GOVERNANCE DURING THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC

Abstract

The community's demands for public services during the covid 19 pandemic are inseparable from the manifestation of good governance, especially in urban areas that are in direct contact with the community, so that the role of the village government plays a very important role in breaking the chain of covid 19 in the community. This research was conducted to find out the role of the village government in realizing good governance, especially in Cimpaeun village, Tahuna District, Sangihe Islands Regency. This research uses qualitative research methods, data collected in reduction and categorization so that a conclusion can be drawn. The informants selected were the village head, village secretary, staff, and the village community, especially the community using Cimpaeun village service The results of the study show that efforts to realize good governance, especially those related to the principle of transparency in government administration.
