Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to introduce and increase children's interest from an early age to want to learn English in the future. This activity can be said to be an activity to instill a good memory in children to love and be interested in mastering English later. Related to this community service, the introduction of English from an early age is thought to be important in order to foster love, interest and emotional bond with the language itself, so that when adults and receive formal English lessons children will feel a bond and love for English. This study utilizes video as a medium used in helping activities take place by involving 35 elementary school students from different grade levels. The results of the study proved that video media helped increase children's motivation in learning English and showed a positive perception of the use of video media. They become more motivated to learn because through learning videos it becomes fun, interesting, and the material is easier to understand.
