Curriculum evaluation is a systematic process aimed at assessing the effectiveness, relevance, and success of the curriculum in achieving educational goals. The curriculum, as the primary guideline for implementing learning, needs to be continuously reviewed in line with developments in science, technology, and societal needs. In Indonesia, the ongoing curriculum changes, from the Curriculum-Based Curriculum (KBK) to the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka), demonstrate the importance of evaluation as a basis for educational decision-making. Through evaluation, various aspects of the curriculum, such as learning objectives, materials, methods, media, and assessment systems, can be analyzed to identify strengths and weaknesses in its implementation. Curriculum evaluation serves not only as a tool for program improvement but also as a form of accountability to various stakeholders and a basis for determining follow-up curriculum development. By implementing appropriate evaluation models and procedures, the curriculum is expected to develop effectively and make a tangible contribution to improving the quality of education and learning.
